Some events are coming up starting this Friday.

There will be a reception for United Methodist Missionary Jennifer Moore on Friday, March 14th at 7 PM at St. James UMC.

St. Patrick’s Day Intergenerational Sunday School

This Sunday, March 16th

This Sunday - Everyone is invited to wear GREEN in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and to remember Saint Patrick.

We will offer an Intergenerational Sunday School class in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00 AM. Join us for hymn singing, learn the story of St. Patrick and learn about the Holy Trinity - God in three persons, Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, along with crafts & refreshments.  Hope to see you there!

The Fastest Gospel

Bible Study starting This Sunday, March 16th

For immediate release: A quick study of the Gospel According to Mark will be offered for five Sundays during Lent beginning March 16. Following morning worship, Jim Tongue will lead the short sessions from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Please let the office know if child care is needed.

Mark presents the earliest story of Jesus as he heard it from Peter. He wrote it for believers under probably the most intense persecution since the stoning of Stephen. Reading Mark in Lent quickly tells the gospel which from beginning to end moves toward the cross and resurrection. Good news, indeed!
