HOLY WEEK EVENTS
Good Friday Crosswalk - Friday, April 18 - Noon
begins at Bridgewater Presbyterian Church
(sponsored by Bridgewater Area Ministers (BAM))
Walk with Christians from all over Bridgewater carrying a cross through town streets and pausing to read and recall Jesus' journey to the cross from scripture.
Good Friday Service - Friday, April 18 6 PM Sanctuary (NOTE earlier time)
A service that focuses on the seven last words of Jesus from the cross. A service of scripture, song, and prayer.
Holy Saturday - The world waits in silence
Easter Sunday - April 20
We run to the tomb to discover that Christ is risen as he said!
We run from the tomb to rejoice and tell the good news!

--10 AM Worship with Sanctuary Choir, Handbells and Brass
--Flowering Cross Bring fresh cut flowers for our flowering cross on the lawn!
Easter Monday - The Office will be closed. UWF Circles will meet.

A note for beyond Easter: Pastor Mary will be traveling on the Sunday after Easter, April 27th and the week following. She will be attending two conferences for clergy at The UM Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. We will have a guest speaker on April 27th. More info to come!

Join us for the 2025 United Women in Faith Spring Banquet “Be My Neighbor” Monday, May 19th 2025 @ 6:30pm featuring guest speaker, Keisha Duncan, from Our Community Place in Harrisonburg.
*Please sign up on the sheet in the hallway so we can plan accordingly, bring a friend! * Bring a side dish or dessert to share- meats and drinks will be provided *We will be collecting toiletries for the clients at Our Community Place Most Needed Items Include: Shower Products, Dental Hygiene Products, Personal Hygiene Products, and Feminine hygiene products. See below for specific items recommended.

Toiletries for Our Community Place (OCP)
Our Community Place works alongside ~200 individuals each month facing housing insecurity & poverty by providing meals & resources. Access to hygiene products is a persistent challenge for many of our community members. The United Women in Faith invites you to collect items for OCP:

**razors & shaving cream
**toothpaste & toothbrushes & stick floss
**deodorant
**lotion & chap stick
**feminine hygiene products

Thank you guys for a very fun, shall we say EGG-cellent Palm Sunday, with AWESOME Worship, singing, waving and passing out of the palms, hunting for Easter eggs, and a great time of fellowship at our potluck meal! Have a Blessed Holy Week! Remember, a lot can - and does happen - in these seven days!

Relay For Life of the American Cancer Society is coming up soon. Funds raised support cancer research and services for patients with cancer and their loved ones. This year's theme for our local Relay For Life is Carnival for a Cure. For more information about what Relay For Life is and how you can get involved contact Robin in the office.
Have you ever been told "You have cancer" or taken care of someone who has? Then you are a survivor or caregiver and you're invited to the banquet! The speaker for the banquet is a comedian who is also a survivor. We'd love to have you there!
