Hello everyone!

Please take the time to read our E-Blast with Church news and opportunities for service below!

Virginia Annual Conference 2025 is THIS WEEK! A reminder that I will be away in Roanoke attending conference this week and I will be away on Sunday morning. If you need anything Wednesday or Thursday, please contact Robin in the Church Office (10 AM - 3 PM). The Virginia Annual Conference will meet June 11 - 14 in Roanoke, VA. The theme of our conference is “Movement of the Heart.” The theme focuses on how God transforms us and how God molds and shapes us and allows us to be agents of change in and around our community.

Annual Conference members attending from our church are Karen Chamblee (our Lay Leader), Pastor Mary Dadisman (our Pastor), members Paul & Johna McFarland and Cheryl Reiman and visitor Sharon Harold as Lay Delegates. Pastor Mary will be away June 11th through June 15th.

There is a lot of information about Annual Conference available including the 2025 Book of Reports at vaumc.org (please copy/paste or type address into your browser). If you need assistance accessing the information or if you have questions about Annual Conference, the office is available to help!

Remember that Easter wasn't the ending but the beginning!

For better health and more strength. For successful medical treatments

For patience.

For strength to spread the gospel even when it's hard

Help us to put God first in everything we do

Those who think that God has deserted them in the midst of today's world circumstances

For people and families dealing with depression and anxiety, with mental illness and with addiction

For less death in our family, for peace and grace in facing grief and loss

Those who are mourning or afraid and for all those fighting cancer

Kits for Conference

Thank you to those who donated items for the Hygiene Kits for UMCOR. A special Thank you to the UWF Hope Circle for donating 24 completed kits. Thanks also to the Love Circle for supplying the necessary items to complete the remainder of kits we needed. Paul & Johna McFarland took our 75 kits to Vision of Hope UMC, where they will be picked up by UMCOR.
