Hello Everyone!!  

if you have not heard the word, there is a new Youth Pastor in town!  Jomo Johnson will be working with the DUMBUMs, the youth group of Dayton UMC (DUM) and Bridgewater UMC (BUM).  He is planning to be here in the office on Thursdays (starting this week 8/15!!) and is working to set his schedule for other dates. 

He cannot wait to meet everyone, so I wanted to share this letter from him!

In the meantime, if you know youth or families that you can invite to be a part of our youth ministry, please help them get connected!

Dear DUMBUM Youth Ministry Families,

I'm excited to introduce myself as the new Christian Youth Director here at DUMBUM Youth Ministry.  I am thrilled to join this vibrant community and to be a part of the spiritual growth and development of our young people.

Starting this week, I will be in the office every Thursday and am eager to get to know each of you better.  My goal is to create a space where our youth can grow in their faith, build strong friendships, and develop into the leaders God has called them to be.  

As part of our ongoing commitment to the spiritual and personal development of our youth, I will be working on a quarterly plan that will outline our activities, events, and opportunities for both parents and teens.  This plan will help us stay organized and ensure that we are making the most of our time together.
